The Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry (Belneftekhim Concern) is one of the largest industrial complexes in the Republic of Belarus. The concern brings together enterprises and organizations engaged in oil production, refining, and transportation, petroleum product supply, chemicals, and petrochemicals, as well as a number of research, design and engineering, construction, repair, and commissioning organizations, and an extensive distribution network in foreign markets. The concern produces more than 500 types of petrochemical and chemical products.

About the client
Belneftekhim-ROS LLC has operated in the Russian market since August 2001. Its sole founder is the Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry (Belneftekhim Concern), which includes all of the largest petrochemical and chemical enterprises in the Republic of Belarus: oil producer RUE Production Association Belorusneft; refiners Naftan OJSC and Mozyr Oil Refinery OJSC; petrochemical and chemical producers such as the Polymir plant of Naftan OJSC, Mogilevkhimvolokno OJSC, Grodno Azot OJSC, and Svetlogorsk Khimvolokno OJSC; tire maker Belshina OJSC; paint and coatings maker Lakokraska OJSC; glass fabric and fiberglass maker Polotsk-Steklovolokno OJSC; and others.
The project involved migrating from 1C:Trade Management 10.3 to 1C:Trade Management 11 and integrating with 1C:Accounting 8.3.

Conclusions
The project gave the company a robust system for automating routine tasks. Key capabilities of the system:
- Automatic data exchange with 1C:Accounting
- A single master data repository
- Automated transit (drop-ship) scheme for shipping goods from Belarusian plants directly to customers
- Automated delivery process and delivery cost accounting for each order
- Automated inventory management
- End-to-end accounting by product batch (series)
- As a result, much more accurate cost calculation for each order
- Accounting for kitting (product assembly) implemented
- Automated accounting for returnable packaging
- Financial reports generated on the fly, without Excel
- Contracts with clients printed directly from the 1C database (from the “Customer Order” document)
